‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُعْتَمِرٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُعَرِّضُ ‏ ‏عَلَى ‏ ‏رَاحِلَتِهِ ‏ ‏وَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا ‏

English Translation

Mu'tamir narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to place his mount crosswise (as a sutrah, a barrier) and pray facing it.
