English Translation
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Bayan, from Wabarah who said: A man said to Ibn 'Umar: May I do tawaf around the House (Ka'bah) when I have entered ihram for Hajj? He said: What is wrong with that? The man said: Ibn 'Abbas forbids it. He said: 'I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entering ihram for Hajj and performing tawaf around the House and sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah. And the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ takes greater precedence for you to follow than the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas — if it is as you say.'
