‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏نَهَى عَنْ ‏ ‏الْمُزَابَنَةِ ‏ ‏وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا ‏

English Translation

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muzabanah. Muzabanah is buying fruit on the tree with dried dates by measure, and buying grapes on the vine with raisins by measure.
