حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا
English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muzabanah. Muzabanah is buying fruit on the tree with dried dates by measure, and buying grapes on the vine with raisins by measure.
