حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلَاءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Dinar narrated to me, he heard Ibn 'Umar saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the sale of wala' (patronage/loyalty rights of a freed slave) and the gifting of it.
