حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ابْنَ ابْنِهِ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ وَاقِدٍ يَا بُنَيَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, who heard Ibn 'Umar (say to) his grandson 'Abdullah ibn Waqid: 'O my son, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Allah عز وجل will not look at the one who drags his garment out of pride.'
