English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Jud'an, from al-Qasim ibn Rabi'ah, from Ibn 'Umar who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of the conquest of Makkah, while he was on the steps of the Ka'bah: 'All praise is due to Allah who has fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. Indeed, every merit, blood-claim, or property that is being claimed is hereby abolished — except the custodianship of the Ka'bah and the provision of water for the pilgrims (siqayah). Indeed, the blood-money for unintentional killing that resembles intentional (such as killing with a whip or a stick) is one hundred camels, of which forty should be pregnant she-camels.'
