حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعَ عَمْرٌو ابْنَ عُمَرَ كُنَّا نُخَابِرُ وَلَا نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا حَتَّى زَعَمَ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْهُ فَتَرَكْنَاهُ
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, he said: 'Amr heard Ibn 'Umar (say): We used to practice mukhabarah (sharecropping) and saw nothing wrong with it, until Rafi' ibn Khadij claimed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it. So we abandoned it.
