‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدَةُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ ‏ ‏وَعُمَرَ ‏ ‏كَانُوا يَبْدَءُونَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ فِي الْعِيدِ ‏

English Translation

'Abdah narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and 'Umar used to begin with the prayer before the sermon (khutbah) on Eid.
