حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْمُلُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَمْشِي أَرْبَعًا وَيَزْعُمُ أَنَّ رَس
Body (Matn)
ُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ وَكَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَهُمَا لِيَكُونَ أَيْسَرَ لِاسْتِلَامِهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, Nafi' informed me, from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) that he used to perform ramal [brisk walking] for three circuits and walk for four circuits [during tawaf], and he claimed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do so.
