English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Isma'il, from Yunus, from al-Hasan — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah (تبارك وتعالى) does not entrust a servant with a flock — large or small — without Allah (تبارك وتعالى) questioning him about it on the Day of Resurrection: did he uphold the commands of Allah (تبارك وتعالى) toward them, or did he neglect [those commands] — until He questions him specifically about his own household.'
