حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّ
هُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'May Allah have mercy on those who shave [their heads].' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, and those who trim [their hair]?' He said: 'May Allah have mercy on those who shave.' On the fourth [time], he said: 'and those who trim.'
