English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from 'Abdullah ibn Nafi', from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let none of you hurry away from his meal for [the sake of] the prayer.' He said: 'Ibn 'Umar would hear the iqama while having his supper and would not hurry away.'
