حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمُصَوِّرُونَ يُقَالُ لَهُمْ أَحْيُوا مَا خَلَقْتُمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Sufyan, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from Salim, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The most severely punished people on the Day of Resurrection will be the makers of images [al-musawwirun] — it will be said to them: Bring to life what you created.'
