English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'While the people were praying the morning prayer in the Mosque of Quba, a man came to them and said: "Quran has been revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he has been directed to face the Ka'ba." He said: So they turned [to face it].'
