حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا وَخَلَّقَ مَكَانَهَا
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from Ibn Abi Rawwad, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw phlegm [nakhama] on the qibla wall of the mosque, scraped it off, and applied fragrant saffron paste [khalluq] in its place.
