English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite a surah to us, and when he came to a verse of prostration [ayat al-sajda], he would prostrate and we would prostrate with him — until some of us could find no space for where to place his forehead.'
