English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered [Mecca] on the Day of the Conquest on a she-camel belonging to Usama ibn Zayd, until he made it kneel in the courtyard of the Ka'ba. He called for 'Uthman ibn Talha with the key; he brought it and opened it. the Prophet ﷺ, Usama, Bilal, and 'Uthman ibn Talha entered, and they closed the door upon themselves for a while, then opened it.' 'Abdullah [ibn 'Umar] said: 'I rushed ahead of the people and found Bilal standing at the door. I said: Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray? He said: Between the two front pillars. And I forgot to ask him how many [rak'as] he prayed.'
