Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِ
ينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ حَتَّى قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَوْ أَرْبَعًا ثُمَّ قَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Ayyub, from Nafi' — that the Prophet ﷺ said on the Day of al-Hudaybiyya: 'O Allah, forgive those who shave [their heads].' A man said: And those who trim [cut short]? He said: 'O Allah, forgive those who shave.' The man said: And those who trim? He repeated this three or four times, then said: 'And those who trim.'
