English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from 'Ali ibn Zayd ibn Jud'an, from al-Qasim ibn Rabi'a — ['Abd al-Razzaq sometimes said: ibn Muhammad, and sometimes: ibn Rabi'a] — that he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, while standing on the steps of the Ka'ba: \"All praise is for Allah who fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and routed the Confederates alone. Know that every mark of distinction from the days of Ignorance is trodden underfoot today — except for the guardianship of the Ka'ba [al-sidana] and the provision of water for the pilgrims [al-siqaya]. And know that [for] what lies between intentional killing and accidental killing — and killing with a whip or a stone — the blood-money is one hundred camels, of which forty are pregnant.\"'
