حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ
الْجُيُوشِ وَالسَّرَايَا أَوْ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ فَإِذَا أَوْفَى عَلَى أُرْبِيَّةٍ كَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ صَدَقَ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abda, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from military expeditions, campaigns, Hajj, or 'Umra — upon cresting high ground — he would say Takbir three times, then say: 'La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir, ayibun ta'ibun 'abidun sajidun li-Rabbina hamidun, sadaqa wa'dahu wa nasara 'abdahu wa hazama al-ahzaba wahdah [There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner — sovereignty and all praise belong to Him, and He is over all things capable. Returning, repenting, worshipping, prostrating to our Lord, praising Him. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and routed the Confederates alone].'
