Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي حَنْظَلَةَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ
Body (Matn)
فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ فِي السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ قُلْنَا إِنَّا آمِنُونَ قَالَ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
English Translation
It was narrated — via Yahya, from Isma'il, from Abu Hanzala — that he said: 'I asked Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) about prayer during travel. He said: "Prayer during travel is two rak'as." We said: "But we are safe [from danger]." He said: "It is the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ."'
