حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ

English Translation
'Abdullah said: I found in my father's book: Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever buys a palm tree that has been pollinated, its fruit belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise. And whoever buys a slave who has property, his property belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise.'
