حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِ

ينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَشُقَّهُمَا أَوْ لِيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

English Translation

'Abdullah said: I found in my father's book: Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to me, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar, I heard Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) narrating from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Bilal calls the adhan during the night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum calls the adhan.'
