حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ خَالِهِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ كَانَ عُم

English Translation

It was narrated — via Yahya, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from his uncle al-Harith, from Hamza ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, from his father — that he said: 'I had a wife whom 'Umar disliked. He said [to me]: "Divorce her." I refused. So 'Umar went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "Obey your father."'
