حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُم

َرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْكُلُ فِي مِعًى وَاحِدٍ وَالْكَافِرُ يَأْكُلُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he said: 'The believer eats with one intestine [eats moderately], while the disbeliever eats with seven intestines [eats to excess].'
