حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ لَهُ شَيْءٌ يُوصِي فِيهِ يَبِيتُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ

English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'It is not right for a person who has something to bequeath to spend even two nights without having his will written down with him.'
