‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏وَكِيعٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّيْتِ غَيْرِ ‏ ‏الْمُقَتَّتِ ‏ ‏عِنْدَ الْإِحْرَامِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Hammad ibn Salama, from Farqad al-Sabakhi, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr — that the Prophet ﷺ used to anoint himself with unscented oil before entering ihram.
