‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏وَكِيعٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏الْعُمَرِيُّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ‏ ‏وَنَافِعٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏ابْنَ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَلْبَسُ ‏ ‏السِّبْتِيَّةَ ‏ ‏وَيَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهَا وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from al-'Umari, from Sa'id al-Maqburi and Nafi' — that Ibn 'Umar used to wear sibtiyya sandals [tanned leather with the hair removed], perform wudu while wearing them, and mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ used to do the same.
