It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Nafi' — that he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit women in the state of ihram from [wearing] gloves [al-quffaz] and the face veil [al-niqab], and from [wearing] garments dyed with wars [a yellow dye] or saffron.'
