حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَمَ فِي النَّفَلِ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Sulaym ibn Akhdar, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that the Prophet ﷺ allocated from the extra spoils [al-nafal] two shares for the horse and one share for the man.
