English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from Nafi' — that the Prophet ﷺ forbade intercepting goods [before they reach the market], and forbade al-najsh [sham bidding to inflate a price]. He said: 'None of you should undercut another's sale.'
