‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مَالِكٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏رَأَى فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ ‏ ‏وَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ishaq ibn Sulayman, from Malik, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a slain woman in one of his military expeditions. He disapproved of this and forbade the killing of women and children.
