English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid, from Muhammad [ibn Ishaq], from Nafi' — that he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the sale of habal al-habala [the unborn offspring of a pregnant animal] — and that is because the people of the Jahiliyya used to practice such sales, so he forbade them from it.'
