‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏عَنْ النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏قَطَعَ فِي ‏ ‏مِجَنٍّ ‏ ‏ثَمَنُهُ ثَلَاثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from Nafi' — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he cut off [the hand of a thief for stealing] a shield [mijan] worth three dirhams.
