حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ

ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَأْكُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ بِشِمَالِهِ وَلَا يَشْرَبْ بِشِمَالِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Umar, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let none of you eat with his left hand and let none of you drink with his left hand — for Shaytan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.'
