English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hajjaj ibn Muhammad, from Ibn Jurayj, from Nafi' — that Ibn 'Umar used to say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let none of you eat from his sacrifice for more than three days."' And 'Abdullah — when the sun set on the third day — would not eat from the meat of his sacrificial animal. — [Second chain:] via Hajjaj, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim — regarding the hady [sacrificial animal brought to Mecca] and the adahi [Eid sacrifices] — [similarly].
