حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَ

اهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنْ يَكُ مِنْ الشُّؤْمِ شَيْءٌ حَقٌّ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from 'Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Zayd — that he heard his father narrate from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said: 'If there is any truth in [the concept of] ill-omens [al-shu'm], it is in a woman, a horse, and a dwelling.'
