English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hushaym, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to 'A'isha: 'Hand me the small prayer mat [al-khumra] from the mosque.' She said she was menstruating. He said: 'Your menstruation is not in your hand [so you may hand it to me].'
