قَالَ وَقَالَ نَافِعٌ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ تَحْتَ سَرْحَةِ الرُّوَيْثَةِ عَنْ يَمِينِ الطَّرِيقِ فِي مَكَانٍ بَطْحٍ سَهْلٍ حِينَ يُفْضِي مِنْ الْأَكَمَةِ دُونَ بَرِيدِ الرُّوَيْثَةِ بِمِيلَيْنِ وَقَدْ انْكَسَرَ أَعْلَاهَا وَهِيَ قَائِمَةٌ عَلَى سَاقٍ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — [via Musa ibn 'Uqba,] from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stop under a large tree [sarha] on the right side of the road, in a flat, level sandy area, where it opens from the high ground — two miles before the relay station of al-Ruwaytha. The top of the tree had broken off but it was still standing on its trunk.
