It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hashim ibn al-Qasim, from Abu Ma'shar, from Musa ibn 'Uqba, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah, from his father — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden [haram]. Whatever intoxicates in large amounts — its small amount is also forbidden [haram]."'
