حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَسَمِعَ نِسَاءً مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَلْكَاهُنَّ فَقَالَ لَكِن
ْ حَمْزَةُ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ فَجِئْنَ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ عِنْدَهُ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ فَقَالَ يَا وَيْحَهُنَّ أَنْتُنَّ هَاهُنَا تَبْكِينَ حَتَّى الْآنَ مُرُوهُنَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْنَ وَلَا يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَالِكٍ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ

English Translation
'Uthman ibn 'Umar narrated to us, Usamah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned on the day of Uhud and heard the women of Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal weeping over their killed. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'But Hamzah has no one to weep for him.' So the women of the Ansar came and wept for Hamzah. the Prophet ﷺ woke up and heard them weeping, so he said: 'Woe to them! They are still weeping? Let them return to their homes and not weep for any dead person after today.'
