Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الثُّمَالِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْعَجْلَانِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْكَافِرَ لَيَجُرُّ لِسَانَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَرَاءَهُ قَدْرَ فَرْسَخَيْنِ يَتَوَطَّؤُهُ النَّاسُ
English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Abu 'Aqil, meaning 'Abdullah ibn 'Aqil, narrated to us, from al-Fadl ibn Yazid al-Thumali, Abu al-'Ajlan al-Muharibi narrated to me, I heard Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever is patient with the hardship and severity of Madinah, I will be an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection.'
