حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّ

ثَنَا مَطَرٌ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَافَرْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ فَكَانَا لَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكُنَّا ضُلَّالًا فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ بِهِ فَبِهِ نَقْتَدِي

English Translation
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Matar narrated to us, from Salim, from his father [Ibn 'Umar] (رضي الله عنهما) who said: I traveled with the Prophet ﷺ and with 'Umar, and they never prayed more than two rak'ahs [while traveling].
