حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا
خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ أَنَّ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ قَالَ لِأَبِي قِلَابَةَ دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَأَبُوكَ عَلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَلْقَى لَهُ وَسَادَةً مِنْ أَدَمٍ حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ وَلَمْ أَقْعُدْ عَلَيْهَا بَقِيَتْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ

English Translation
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Khalid al-Hadhdha' narrated to us, that Abu al-Malih said to Abu Qilabah: 'I and your father entered upon Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), and he told us that he entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not prevent your women from going to the mosques." Ibn 'Umar's son said: 'Rather, we will prevent them!' Ibn 'Umar struck him and became angry with him, and said: 'I narrate to you from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and you say "we will prevent them"?!'
