English Translation
Ishaq ibn 'Isa narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that he used to dye his garments and oil himself with saffron. It was said to him: 'Why do you dye your garments and oil yourself with it?' He said: 'Because I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dye with it, and there was no dye more beloved to him than it.'
