Hadith #43

English Translation
It was narrated — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from al-Zuhri, from a man of the family of Khalid ibn Asid — that he said: 'I said to Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما): "We find the prayer of fear in the Quran, and the prayer of the resident, but we do not find the traveler's prayer." He said: "Allah (تعالى) sent Muhammad (ﷺ) and we knew nothing. We only do as we saw Muhammad (ﷺ) do."'
