English Translation

Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, Huraym informed us, from 'Ubaydullah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have the short spear [anazah] carried with him during the two Eids and on his journeys, and it would be planted in front of him, and he would pray toward it.'
