حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ عَنْ سَال

ِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَافَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ فَلَمْ أَرَهُمَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكُنَّا ضُلَّالًا فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ بِهِ فَبِهِ نَقْتَدِي

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Matar narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abdullah ibn 'Umar, from his father who said: 'We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and with 'Umar, and we could not find 'Umar among the people that night, so we found him in the morning. the Prophet ﷺ asked: "What happened to you?" He said: "My camel became restless at night." the Prophet ﷺ said: "Let no man come to his wife at night suddenly, checking on her."'
