English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via reading to 'Abd al-Rahman: from Malik, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the person in ihram from wearing a garment dyed with saffron or wars [yellow dye]. He said: "Whoever cannot find sandals, let him wear leather socks — and cut them below the ankles."'
