English Translation

Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi', that Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) called to prayer on a cold and windy night, then said at the end of his call: 'Pray in your dwellings, pray in your dwellings.' Then he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to order the mu'adhdhin, when it was a cold and rainy night, to say: "Pray in your dwellings."'
